Busy Week Ahead at Benbrook Middle-High.

Benbrook Middle-High School students are heading into a full week of testing, athletics and a chance for families to spend some time on campus.

The week begins Monday, Aug. 24, with Meet the Teacher from 5 to 6:30 p.m., followed by Meet the Bobcat from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the high school main gym.

MAP testing also takes place throughout the week, with math Tuesday, ELAR Wednesday and science Thursday.

Bobcat athletics will be busy on the road and at home. Lady Cat volleyball visits Arlington Lamar on Tuesday before varsity heads to the Rio Vista Tournament Thursday and Saturday. The Lady Cats return home Friday to face Arlington Heights.

Football gets underway Wednesday with the freshman and JV teams visiting Trimble Tech. Varsity follows Thursday night against Trimble Tech at Farrington Field with kickoff at 7 p.m.

The Bobcat cross country team rounds out the week Friday morning at the Boyd Yellowjacket Invitational.
