Benbrook has a rising star, and her name is Abby Moilan.
Western Hills High School’s standout track and field athlete has been racking up accolades and making her hometown proud. With a resume that boasts 2 District Championships, 4 District Medals, 3 Area Medals, and 3 Regional Qualifications, Abby has quickly become one of the most decorated student-athletes in the school’s recent history.
Add to that her recognition as Student Athlete of the Week, and it’s clear this Cougar doesn’t just compete—she dominates.
What started as a bold goal at the end of her sophomore year has now turned into a dream come true. Abby has officially committed to Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi, where she’ll join the Division I track and field program.
From Cougar green to Islander blue, the entire Western Hills community—and all of Benbrook—is cheering her on as she steps into the next exciting phase of her academic and athletic career.
