Benbrook Library Sets Fundraising Goal for Youth Tech Programs.

For many families, the library is more than a place to check out books. It is where kids learn, explore, and get hands-on with technology they may not have at home.

That is part of what makes this year’s Library Giving Days matter.

From April 6 through April 13, Benbrook Public Library will take part in a region-wide campaign supporting libraries across North Texas. The goal locally is to raise $15,000 to purchase new laptops for youth tech programs, giving students better access to tools that support learning and creativity.

One thing that sets this campaign apart is where the money goes. Every online donation made during the event goes directly to the participating library.

Residents can give online through the campaign page or stop by the library in person during the fundraiser. Early giving begins March 30 for those who want to get a head start.
