A new reading challenge at the Benbrook Public Library is giving kids and families a simple reason to pick up more books this spring.
The Bookland Reading Challenge invites young readers to log the books they read through the Beanstack app. Families can track their reading progress and work toward prizes through May 28.
Participants who complete the challenge can visit the library to receive a token and become some of the first readers to choose a book from the library’s new book vending machine.
Getting started is simple. Families download the Beanstack app or sign in online, select Benbrook Public Library, and choose the reading challenge that matches the child’s age. From there, books can be logged as they are completed.
The Benbrook Public Library is located at 1065 Mercedes Street. For more information about the challenge and other library programs, visit https://benbrooklibrary.org, sign up through https://www.beanstack.com/login, email reference@benbrooklibrary.org, or call 817 249 6632.
