Benbrook Library Launches Book Vending Machine for Young Readers.

There is a new reason for kids to get excited about reading in Benbrook.

The Benbrook Public Library has officially opened its Book Vending Machine, giving young readers a fun way to turn pages into prizes. Thanks to the Friends of the Benbrook Library, the colorful machine is now ready to reward children who put in the time with a good book.

From now through May 28, kids ages 0 to 12 can earn tokens by participating in the Bookland Reading Challenge. The process is simple. Families sign up for a free Beanstack account, log the books their children read, and collect tokens and other prizes along the way.

Parents can register at https://www.beanstack.com/login and start tracking reading right away.

The Benbrook Public Library is located at 1065 Mercedes St in Benbrook. For more information, visit https://benbrooklibrary.org, email reference@benbrooklibrary.org, or call 817-249-6632.

Programs like this make reading feel less like homework and more like an adventure. For local families, it is another reminder that the library is not just a quiet place with shelves. It is a place where stories open doors and now, quite literally, dispense rewards.
