Benbrook Kids Build More Than Lemonade Stands at Community “Build Day”.

On a day that could have been just another Saturday, Benbrook turned it into something a little more meaningful.

Lemonade Day Build Day brought together local kids, business owners, and volunteers to do more than hammer together wooden stands. By the end of the day, 23 lemonade stands had been built, each tied to a bigger lesson about how business works.

The idea is simple, but it sticks. Kids learn how to create a plan, build something from the ground up, sell a product, manage money, and even give a portion back. It is hands-on learning, guided by people who live and work in the same community.

Local sponsors and partners helped make it happen, including Magnolia Fence and Patio, Benbrook Lighted Par 3 and Driving Range, the Benbrook Area Chamber of Commerce, Pinnacle Bank, Texas Southern Painting, and others across Fort Worth.

What stood out was not just the number of stands built, but how many people showed up to help. Parents, mentors, and volunteers worked side by side with kids who are just getting their first taste of what it means to create something of their own.

By the end of the day, the stands were finished. More importantly, the first steps for a group of young entrepreneurs who now have something to call their own are coming in May. Stop by on May 3rd to show your support for Benbrook’s Lemonade Day.
