An overnight water problem along Bryant Street led to street flooding and an early-morning water shutoff Tuesday in Benbrook.
According to dispatch information reported by CrimeRadar.app, crews were called shortly after 3:30 a.m. Aug. 11 after significant water was reported along Bryant Street, between the Mildred Lane and Vernon Castle Street areas. Responders later reported water coming through the pavement, and the water authority was notified.
By 5:04 a.m., dispatch traffic indicated a water shutoff was planned near Bryant and Davidson streets because of a valve problem while repairs were underway. Nearby neighborhoods could experience water service interruptions during the work.
No estimated restoration time was included in the available dispatch information.
The information comes from publicly available dispatch audio and has not yet been confirmed through an official city report.
This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
