Benbrook’s next generation of business owners will get a hands-on lesson this month, and it starts with lemons.
On March 17 from 9 to 10 am, Chick-fil-A Benbrook will host a lemonade workshop for children registered for Lemonade Day. The session will walk kids through how to make fresh lemonade, giving them a practical head start as they prepare to run their own stands later this spring.
The event is open only to children officially signed up for Lemonade Day. Families who have not registered still have time. Registration must be completed before March 17 for children to attend the workshop.
Lemonade Day encourages kids to learn basic business skills, including budgeting, marketing, and customer service. The Benbrook Area event culminates on May 3, when young entrepreneurs across the community set up stands and put their planning into action.
