Back-to-school season comes with plenty of expenses for families. The Benbrook Public Library hopes the community can help ensure food isn’t another worry.
The library is asking residents to help restock its food pantry with shelf-stable and ready-to-eat foods for local families in need.
Donations can be dropped off anytime the library is open: Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
A few extra items added to the grocery cart could make the first weeks of school a little easier for a Benbrook neighbor.
