A reported hit-and-run along RM 2871 near Rolling Hills Drive last month led to an arrest after the Benbrook Police Department investigated.
The September 23 incident reportedly involved Granbury resident Kolton G. Krottinger, who said he was struck by a vehicle near HighRidge Church. According to earlier accounts, the driver left the scene.
In a recent social media post, Krottinger credited Benbrook police for investigating the incident and obtaining an arrest warrant.
“Justice was served today,” Krottinger wrote, thanking officers for their work.
A Tarrant County inmate record shared with the post shows a 27-year-old woman named Emma was booked on October 20, 2026, with charges listed as assault causing bodily injury and collision involving damage to a vehicle of $200 or more.
Krottinger also alleged the driver lacked insurance, although that claim has not been independently confirmed.
The booking record does not establish guilt, and the case’s outcome remains pending.
