Jeffrey Watson, 34, was arrested and is charged with shooting and murdering a 70-year-old Benbrook woman, Julia Ann Gregor, last week in an apparent road rage incident.
The unthinkable act allegedly occurred on the highway around 2900 West Loop 820 South (close to 820 and Camp Bowie West Blvd). According to nbcdfw.com, Gregor’s surviving husband, Ted, expressed gratitude for the arrest but also said the loss of his wife has been devastating to himself and his family.
According to ncbdfw.com, Watson had a previous record of criminal behavior in Tarrant County for burglary, resisting arrest, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in 2008.
