Two-Car Crash Slows Loop 820 Traffic.

Benbrook’s Thursday morning commute hit a snag just after 8 a.m. when a two-vehicle crash blocked two lanes of Loop 820 near Winscott Road.

Benbrook emergency personnel responded to the eastbound lanes near the Winscott bridge, according to dispatch information reported by CrimeRadar.app. A Ford SUV and a Mercedes SUV were reportedly involved, with the Ford initially remaining in a travel lane and the Mercedes off the roadway.

Traffic briefly stopped while crews worked the scene. Crews moved both vehicles to the shoulder, allowing traffic to return to normal flow.

No injuries were reported.
