A Fort Worth driver is asking for help finding witnesses or dashcam footage after a hit-and-run Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 20 near Southwest Loop 820.
According to the driver, the collision happened around 3:40 p.m. Sept. 29 when another vehicle moved into her lane while attempting to exit and struck the driver’s side of her vehicle. She said she took the exit to avoid being pushed into the barrier, while the other driver continued without stopping.
Her 58-year-old mother and baby were in the vehicle at the time. The baby, who was secured in a car seat, was checked by paramedics, and the driver said she was later evaluated at an emergency room.
The other vehicle was described only as an older-model white sedan. With everything happening quickly, the driver was unable to get a license plate or enough information to confidently identify the person behind the wheel.
Now she is hoping someone else traveling that stretch of I-20 captured something she missed.
Anyone who was in the area around 3:40 p.m. is being asked to check dashcam footage for the collision, the white sedan, a license plate or even a partial plate. Footage immediately before or after the crash could also help.
The driver said police are investigating the incident and is asking anyone with information or footage to contact her privately through the original Facebook post.
