Western Hills High School Choir Hits All the Right Notes.

Benbrook residents have another reason to be proud—Western Hills High School choirs just delivered a standout performance that’s turning heads and tuning hearts.

Under the leadership of Choir Director Blake Glass, the WHHS vocalists brought home big wins, earning two Sweepstakes awards for the Varsity Tenor-Bass and Non-Varsity Treble groups, along with two additional plaques for Non-Varsity Tenor-Bass and Varsity Mixed Choirs.

The performances, featuring pieces like Dan Forrest’s “And Can It Be” and the moving “Goin’ Home” accompanied by cellist Aj Jaime, were the culmination of dedicated work, stellar collaborations, and some behind-the-scenes support from student teacher Elyssa Williams and pianists Susan Bowers and Caroline Maas.

With powerful voices and even stronger teamwork, the Western Hills Choir program continues to strike a chord throughout the community. Way to represent, WHHS—you make Benbrook proud.
