Morning Crash at 377 and 1187 Slows Traffic, Clears Quickly.

BENBROOK, TX — The morning commute hit a brief slowdown on Wednesday after a crash at the intersection of U.S. Highway 377 and FM 1187.

Just after 9:30 a.m., a FedEx truck rear-ended another vehicle, bringing traffic to a halt in the area. First responders were called to the scene, where early reports indicated minimal to no injuries and no fatalities.

Drivers were urged to find alternate routes as crews worked to clear the roadway. By a little after 10:15 a.m., traffic flow had returned to normal. It is a reminder of how quickly traffic can change on some of the area’s busiest roads.

Officials are continuing to investigate the cause of the collision.
