Students across Fort Worth ISD are gearing up for one of the district’s most energetic academic showdowns as Whiz Quiz finals take place Thursday, January 15, at 5 PM at the District Service Center on Camp Bowie Boulevard.
Hosted by Fort Worth Independent School District, the annual competition turns knowledge into a fast-paced sport, drawing cheers from classmates, families, and educators.
The evening features head-to-head matchups between Applied Learning Academy and McLean sixth grade, Daggett Montessori and Stripling Middle School, and Paschal High School and IM Terrell Academy.
Teams race to answer questions covering everything from history and science to pop culture and sports, using a buzzer system that rewards confidence, quick thinking, and recall.
Community members are invited to attend in person or tune in via the district’s YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/@FWISDnews to watch students put their knowledge on display.
