YMCA Board Members Roll Up Their Sleeves.

Before the doors opened Sunday morning, several Benbrook YMCA board members were already putting in a few hours of work.

The volunteers spent about three hours deep cleaning, organizing and sprucing up the Benbrook Community Center YMCA, helping prepare the facility for the members and families who use it each week.

It was a behind-the-scenes morning of service that reflected the board’s commitment beyond meetings and decisions. They simply showed up, rolled up their sleeves and got to work.

The Benbrook YMCA thanked its board members for giving their Sunday morning to help make the community center more welcoming.
