Western Hills High School students are getting an unexpected early dismissal Wednesday after another power outage disrupted the campus.
According to a notice shared by FWISD Watchdog, Oncor crews are replacing the affected unit while the school remains without power. Because of the outage, students are being dismissed early, with buses sent to campus and sack lunches available.
Car riders were scheduled for dismissal at 11:35 a.m., with families asked to remain in their vehicles during pickup.
The latest outage comes after previous power trouble at Western Hills, making Wednesdayโs early dismissal a familiar disruption for students, staff and families.
No estimated time for full power restoration was provided in the notice.
