Six weeks down, and Westpark Elementary already has plenty to celebrate.
Students and staff packed the gym for a Power Rally marking the end of the first six weeks of school, recognizing the hard work, growth and successes that have started to take shape across campus.
The Wildcats also welcomed a surprise guest, Superintendent Dr. Peter B. Licata, who joined students and staff for the celebration.
For Westpark, the rally offered a chance to recognize what students have accomplished so far while building some momentum for the months ahead.
Not a bad way for the Wildcats to start the school year.
