The Western Hills Cougars are putting up impressive numbers beyond the football field, with 17 players earning A or A/B Honor Roll recognition for the second six weeks of the 2026-27 school year.
The Cougars also reported a 97% passing rate for varsity players and 84% for junior varsity, reflecting the team’s academic progress during the grading period.
The honor roll recognizes Ayden Bell, Jaqualin Boger, Brayden Burns, Daiveon Donison, D’Tyree Faulk, Ja’Res Gray, Alonzo Heard, Tyler Johnston, Trustin Martinez, Josiah Pena, Brandon Peoples, Mohammed Soumahoro, Gabriel Zuniga, Dalton Barrera, Destine Demars, Covan Elder, and Joshua Swinton.
For Western Hills football, the latest results offer another reason to celebrate the Cougars, this time for the work they’re putting in inside the classroom.
