Traffic Signals Out at RM 2871 and I-20, Drivers Urged to Use Caution.

If you’re coming from or heading west of Benbrook this morning, you may want to plan an alternate route.

According to reports from area residents, all traffic signals at the intersection of RM 2871 and Interstate 20 are currently out. Witnesses also reported that it appears the intersection’s main power control box may have been damaged.

The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office has been notified of the situation.

Drivers traveling through the area should expect delays, exercise extra caution at the intersection, and consider alternate routes until the signals are restored.
