Two pivotal board positions at Tarrant County College (TCC) will be up for grabs in the May 3 election.
Districts 6 and 7 are on the ballot. Residents of these districts can file for candidacy until 5 p.m. on Feb. 14. Board members serve six-year terms with no term limits and shape policies, budgets, and operations for the six-campus college system, which serves nearly 47,500 students.
The TCC board governs the college system with an annual budget of $421 million, overseeing policies, faculty appointments, and infrastructure projects. Board members also have the authority to levy taxes for district operations and development under state law.
Key election dates include voter registration by April 3, early voting from April 22-29, and Election Day on May 3. To learn more about candidate requirements and the election process, visit TCCโs election page.
