Power Outage Hits Several Benbrook Neighborhoods.

A midday power outage swept through parts of Tarrant County on December 3, leaving more than 3,000 residents without electricity.

Homes near Benbrook in Trail Ridge, Skyline Ranch, Whitestone Ranch, Ventana, and nearby areas were affected.

The cause has not yet been confirmed, and crews are working to restore service, with an estimated return time of 1:30 p.m. today.

UPDATE: As of 3:30 p.m., Oncor reports no estimated restoration time for the roughly 1,500 customers still without power. Most of Benbrook is back online, though homes along the Benbrook and Fort Worth border continue to see intermittent outages.

UPDATE: Power is fully restored and back on as of 10:01 p.m..
