Wildcats Celebrate Literacy Week with Dress Up Days.

Wildcat families can mark their calendars for Literacy Week, set for March 9 through March 13. The week will bring daily themes designed to keep reading front and center while adding a little fun to the school day.

Monday kicks things off with Get Spotted Reading, where students can wear polka dots. Tuesday’s theme, Wild About Reading, invites animal print attire.

Wednesday is Read the Rainbow. Each grade level will wear a designated color: Pre K pink, Kindergarten purple, first grade green, second grade orange, third grade yellow, fourth grade red, and fifth grade blue.

Thursday’s theme, Building a Bright Future, calls for neon and bright colors. Friday wraps up the week with Snuggle Up with a Buddy and a Book, encouraging students to wear pajamas and bring a stuffed animal.

As always, clothing must remain school-appropriate and follow campus dress guidelines. Literacy Week offers a simple reminder that reading is not just a classroom activity. It is something worth celebrating all week long.
