A long standing Benbrook tradition returns this weekend with a simple invitation. Come hungry and support the community.
The Benbrook Lions Club will host its 59th Annual Chili Supper Fundraiser and Live and Silent Auction on Saturday, March 7 at 5:30 pm. The event will take place at Benbrook United Methodist Church, located at 1122 Bryant Street in Benbrook.
Guests can enjoy all the chili they can eat for $10 for adults and $5 for children. Hot dogs, soft drinks, water, and desserts will also be available for purchase during the evening.
For many residents, the event has become a yearly gathering that blends good food with a good cause. The chili supper helps raise funds that support a variety of Lions Club community programs that serve Benbrook throughout the year.
Community members who want to enjoy a bowl of chili while supporting local service efforts are encouraged to stop by and take part in the evening. All proceeds benefit Benbrook Lions Club programs that continue to serve the city.
