Weekly Scramble Night at Benbrook Par 3 Golf Course belonged to Kathryn this time around.
Before heading off to school, Kathryn teamed up with Braylen to shoot 5-under, but her night started with another win as she took the chipping competition. Her mom, Holly, was there to watch it all.
It was also a night filled with family meaning. Those close to Kathryn shared that her grandfather surely would have been proud watching her play.
And with Kathryn and Braylen heading out, the regulars couldn’t resist a little friendly parting shot: “Now that they are gone, we have a chance.”
Not a bad way to trade the golf course for the classroom. Study hard, Kathryn, and congratulations on a memorable night.
