Before taking the field for one final season as a Lady Bobcat, Benbrook soccer standout Lily Chavez already knows where the game will take her next.
Chavez announced she has committed to continue her academic and soccer career at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, giving the Benbrook senior another milestone to celebrate as she begins her final year.
“Beyond blessed to announce that I will be continuing my academic and soccer career at Midwestern State University,” Chavez shared. “Grateful the Lord gave me the opportunity to compete at the next level.”
She also thanked the family, coaches, teammates, and others who have supported her along the way, adding, “I can’t wait for what’s next.”
What comes next will eventually include college soccer and a new jersey. First, Chavez has one more chapter to write in Benbrook as a Lady Bobcat.
Congratulations, Lily. One final season at home, then it’s on to the Mustangs.
