A new community-focused idea is taking shape that could put more local dollars into Benbrook businesses.
Long-time resident and broker Gary Addison, working through Gary Addison Real Estate Agency LLC, has partnered with Positively Benbrook to launch a limited local business promotion program.
The plan centers on 100 durable plastic cards, similar to credit cards, to be given away to residents. Each card will feature up to 10 Benbrook businesses on the back, each offering either a complimentary item or a discount on goods or services.

There is no cost for companies to participate, and only one business per category will be included, keeping competition fair and exposure focused.
Customers present the card during a visit, the business honors the offer, and the card stays with the customer for future use. Cards will include a one-use-per-visit guideline and will expire on December 31, 2026.
The program will also be promoted periodically to remind residents to support the participating businesses.
Local business owners who see value in joining are encouraged to comment on the original announcement to set up a conversation about participation and available categories.
The goal is simple: strengthen community connections and keep Benbrook dollars circulating right here at home.
