A little wordplay and friendly competition are headed to the Benbrook Public Library this Friday night.
Library After Dark returns March 13 from 7 to 9:30 pm with a grown up spelling bee designed for adults who enjoy a challenge or just want a fun night out. The event is open to ages 21 and older and offers a relaxed setting where participants can test their spelling skills, enjoy refreshments, and compete for bragging rights.
The evening carries a five dollar cover charge, which helps cover refreshments. Guests are welcome to bring their own beverages and outside food. Registration is optional but helpful for planning.
The event takes place at the Benbrook Public Library, located at 1065 Mercedes Street.
