Areas 3-4 of Fort Worth ISD Spelling Bee Champions Shine Bright.

Fort Worth, TX – The Fort Worth ISD hosted the annual Areas 3-4 Spelling Bees yesterday at the Teaching and Learning Center, showcasing the exceptional spelling skills of elementary and middle school students. Each participating campus selected a champion or runner-up to represent their school at the event.

The winners from Areas 3 and 4 will now advance to the Regional Spelling Bee, hosted by the Fort Worth Library on March 29, 2025.

Area 3 Winners:

• Champion: Karly Kwabi, 5th grader from A.M. Pate Elementary

• Runner-Up: Dim Nuam, 5th grader from East Handley Elementary

Area 4 Winners:

• Champion: Gabriel Traska, 6th grader from Benbrook Middle-High School

• Runner-Up: Autumn Day, 5th grader from Rolling Hills Elementary

Congratulations to all the talented spellers who competed this year! The stage is set for Areas 5 and 6, with their Spelling Bees scheduled for today.
