Lady Bobcats Golf Sets New Mark, Sits Second After Day One.

A year goes by quickly, especially when a program like the Lady Bobcats Golf keeps raising its own standard.

The Lady Bobcats returned to the Burleson Centennial Invite at Southern Oaks Golf and Tennis Club and wasted no time making history.

After Day 1, Benbrook sits in second place overall with a team score of 346 (+58), a new school record.

That number did not come quietly. It came from steady swings, composed putting, and a pair of familiar names at the top of the leaderboard.

• Campbell Glanzer (SO) – 79 (+7)
• Jessica Anzaldua (SR) – 91 (+19)

• Bay Bradshaw (SO) – +69 through 17

Avery Glanzer’s 69 under par round set the tone for the day and placed her among the tournament leaders heading into the final round. Campbell Glanzer followed with a strong 79 to keep the Lady Bobcats firmly in contention.
