Fort Worth ISD is stepping into its next chapter with several key leadership appointments that will shape how the district serves students, staff, and families across the city, including Benbrook.
Darla Moss has been named Chief Financial Officer, bringing oversight and stewardship to the district’s financial operations. Jerome Pilgrim joins the leadership team as Executive Director of Procurement, guiding purchasing and vendor partnerships that support campuses and classrooms every day.
The district is also officially recognizing Christina Galanis in her new role as Executive Director of Counseling and Guidance after previously serving in an interim capacity. Her work continues to center on student well-being, academic support, and guidance services that reach families where they are.
Together, these leaders bring experience, stability, and a shared commitment to strengthening FWISD from the inside out. Their appointments signal a focus on thoughtful leadership and long-term impact for the communities the district serves.
