Excitement is building at Benbrook Middle-High School as Emerald Line tryouts approach, and students prepare for the upcoming season.
Tryouts are open to current eighth through eleventh-grade students, with several required dates leading up to the final selection. Families should plan to attend the mandatory pre-tryout parent meeting on Monday, February 16, at 6:00 pm in the high school library. This meeting will cover expectations, schedules, and important details for the season ahead.
Tryout clinics will be held in the high school gym on Monday, March 2, Tuesday, March 3, and Wednesday, March 4, from 4:00 to 5:00 pm each day. These sessions are designed to help students prepare for and understand what to expect during tryouts.
Official tryouts will take place on Friday, March 6, at 4:30 pm in the high school gym and are required for all participants.
