For many couples, life moves fast. Between work, family, and everyday responsibilities, a meaningful connection can quietly take a back seat.
Encounter Church in Benbrook is creating space to slow that down.
On Friday, April 17, at 6:30 p.m., the church will host a Date Night designed to help couples reconnect in a simple, intentional way. The evening centers on a familiar question:ย Are you speaking your spouseโs love language, or are youย missing it?
Hosted by Ministers Joe and Linda Cortez, the event invites married, engaged, and dating couples into a relaxed setting that blends conversation with practical insight. Dinner is included, along with interactive activities, guided discussion, and time set aside for a real, honest connection.
Organizers say the goal is not to overcomplicate relationships, but to help couples better understand one another and grow stronger together.
The event will be held at Encounter Church, located at 10180 Rolling Hills Drive in Benbrook. Couples are encouraged to attend together and even invite another couple to join them.
Registration is available at https://encounterchu.breezechms.com/form/608a1f.
For those looking to invest in their relationship, it is a simple night that could make a lasting difference.
