Benbrook Bobcat swimmers are on the road this weekend with a clear goal in mind. Advance to State.
The Region II 4A Swimming and Diving Championships take place January 30 and 31 at the Bruce Eubanks Natatorium in Frisco. Athletes from across the region will compete for top finishes and a chance to move on to the UIL State Swimming Competition.
Friday features diving and swimming preliminaries, with the fastest swimmers earning spots in Saturday’s finals. The championship finals begin Saturday morning, where every race carries added weight and season-long work comes to a head.
Fans planning to attend should note that all tickets are sold online through Hometown Ticketing. Tickets go on sale Mondays at 10 am and are available at https://tickets.friscotx.org. Live streaming will be available at https://friscosportslive.com, with results posted in real time on the Meet Mobile app.
As the Bobcats take the blocks and boards this weekend, they carry the support of the Benbrook community with them. It is a big stage, a fast pool, and an opportunity to keep the season going.
