If the weather cooperates, Benbrook sports fans have a packed slate of games to circle on the calendar this week, with Bobcats and Lady Bobcats competing across basketball, soccer, and wrestling.
The action tips off Tuesday, January 20, with Bobcat and Lady Bobcat basketball hosting Diamond Hill Jarvis at Benbrook Middle High School. Boys JV starts at 5 p.m., followed by Girls Varsity at 6:30 p.m. and Boys Varsity at 8 p.m. That same evening, Bobcat Soccer takes the field against Polytechnic at Farrington Field with matches at 6:15 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Wednesday, January 21, features middle school and varsity competition. MS Girls Basketball travels to Elder with games at 6 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. Back in Benbrook, Bobcat Wrestling hosts Carter Riverside and Dallas Conrad at the middle school gym with matches beginning at 5 p.m. and continuing at 6 p.m.
Thursday, January 22, MS Boys Basketball returns home to face Elder at the middle school gym, tipping off at 6 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.
Friday, January 23, closes the week with a full slate. Bobcat Basketball hosts Southwest at BMHS with games at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Lady Cats Soccer hits the road to Paschal with matches at 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Meanwhile, Bobcat Soccer hosts O.D. Wyatt at BMHS with kickoff times set for 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.
