Future scientists are already making waves, and a few of them are right here in our own backyard.
Fort Worth ISD recently celebrated a standout group of young science fair winners during a special recognition at the Fort Worth City Council meeting, and two Benbrook-area schools made a strong showing.
Luella Merrett Elementary was well-represented with Rosalee Austin, Arissa Hernandez, and Isabella Klas taking top honors. Rolling Hills Elementary’s Ava Fuller also earned a spot on the winners list, showing off some serious scientific skill and creativity.
These students joined others from across the district whose experiments and ideas earned district-wide attention for innovation and curiosity. Whether it was chemistry, engineering, or environmental science, each project was a small glimpse into the next generation of thinkers.
