Benbrook’s own Rolling Hills Elementary 5th graders recently stepped out of the classroom and into the wild world of science, diving into Texas’ natural wonders on an unforgettable field trip.
Their journey, guided by Education in Action, took them along the Brazos River at Cameron Park Zoo, through ancient landscapes at Waco Mammoth National Monument, and deep into the earth at Inner Space Cavern. Along the way, students explored ecosystems, examined fossils, and got up close with the rock cycle through hands-on learning.
This interactive experience brought their science curriculum to life and gave these young scientists a deeper appreciation for the natural beauty and history of Texas.
