Benbrook Scramble Heats Up with Big Shots and Close Calls.

Wednesday night at Benbrook Par 3 Golf Course brought another round of friendly rivalry, big swings, and near-miss excitement.

Locals showed up ready, but Dan stole the show again with a second week of chipping in for the win. Back-to-back hole-outs? That’s a streak worth watching.

The scramble scores lined up like this: Mike and Chris, along with teammates Hasty and Peyton, crushed it with a 6-under finish. Word is, they couldn’t miss a putt. Hasty and Peyton gave it their best, but ended at 3-under. Still respectable, just not enough to catch the hot hands.

The second-place team went 5-under and even landed a hole-in-one. Third place finished 4-under. Meanwhile, one young player came just inches from the $100 prize and walked away with twenty bucks and a story to tell.
