Rolling Hills Elementary students will have another opportunity to add a little Spanish to their Mondays this school year.
La Puerta Spanish Education is bringing its beginner-level after-school Spanish class back to Rolling Hills beginning Sept. 14. Classes meet Mondays from 3:20 to 4:20 p.m. and continue through May 10.
Ms. Mayra returns as instructor, using stories, games, songs and plenty of repetition to help students learn Spanish in a fun, approachable setting. Returning students are welcome, too, since the class uses different material each year.
The program costs $655 for the full school year, with a monthly payment plan available. All Rolling Hills students may register.
Thereโs also a benefit for the school. La Puerta says 10% of tuition goes directly back to Rolling Hills as a thank-you for hosting the program.
Families can learn more and register through La Puerta Spanish Education.
For Bobcats interested in learning another language, Monday afternoons could be a good place to start.
