The Benbrook Fire Department recently hosted its annual firefighter banquet, celebrating the dedication and bravery of its team.
Jake Humphries was honored as Rookie of the Year, Kevin Nicholson received Officer of the Year, and Conner Harding was named Firefighter of the Year.
Drew Belanger was recognized as EMS Professional of the Year and shared the Life Saving Award with Sarah Scheinoha, Logan Prater, Michael Poe, and Howard Haber. Scheinoha’s night was particularly momentous, as she was also promoted to Lieutenant.
The event celebrated new milestones for Nathan Justice, Jake Humphries, and Mitchell Morgan, who received their one-year pins, marking their first year of service.
