If you’re looking to support a local small business this Fourth of July weekend, Sweet Joy’s Bakery is inviting the community to stop by its weekly neighborhood bake stand.
Every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., or until sold out, owners spend the week baking fresh sourdough bread, cinnamon rolls, cookies, muffins, scones, mini cakes, pies, bagels, and other homemade favorites using simple, high-quality ingredients. Visitors can also enjoy complimentary cold drinks while they shop.
This Saturday’s bake stand will be held at 3600 Bandera Road, just off Chapin Road near Waverly Park Elementary. Look for the pink signs to find the stand.
Whether you’re picking up fresh bread for your holiday barbecue or treating yourself to something sweet, it’s another opportunity to shop local, meet neighbors, and support a Benbrook-area family business.
