Last Saturday, the Benbrook Fire Department and Chick-fil-A Benbrook hosted “Touch A Truck: Fire Truck Edition,” which offered locals a hands-on experience with fire engines and first responders.
The event, held on December 21, brought families together to see the fire department’s life-saving work up close.
Adding a sweet touch to the festivities, Chick-fil-A announced it would donate $1 to the fire department for every six-count Chocolate Chunk Cookie sold through December. The initiative aims to support the department while fostering holiday cheer.
With a Firefighter Cow mascot delighting kids and community members rallying behind the cause, the event showcased the strong partnership between Benbrook’s fire department and its local Chick-fil-A franchise. It highlighted the community’s appreciation for its first responders and underscored the spirit of giving this holiday season.
