Fire Chief Tommy Davis Set To Retire After 38 Years of Service.

After nearly four decades of dedicated service to the Benbrook Fire Department and the community he has so faithfully protected, Fire Chief Tommy Davis is hanging up his helmet.

As a city, we pause to express our deepest gratitude to a man whose leadership, courage, and commitment have made Benbrook a safer, stronger, and more unified place to call home.

For 38 years, Chief Davis has exemplified selfless service. From responding to emergencies with unwavering resolve to mentoring the next generation of first responders, his impact is etched into the fabric of our community. His legacy is not just one of bravery but also compassion and genuine care for the people of Benbrook.

To celebrate Chief Davis and his incredible career, a retirement reception will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Benbrook Fire Station, located at 528 Mercedes St., Benbrook, Texas. All are invited to stop by, share their thanks, and wish Chief Davis well as he embarks on this well-deserved new chapter.
