Benbrook basketball fans have a chance to show some hometown pride this week.
Brennan Barton has been nominated for Boys Basketball Player of the Week following a standout performance in Friday night’s win over Eastern Hills.
Barton poured in 32 points, leading the Bobcats through a tough district matchup and delivering one of the strongest individual efforts of the week across the area.
Voting is open now and runs until 11 a.m. Friday. Benbrook residents, students, families, and fans can cast their votes online to recognize a performance that made a difference on the court.
Fans who spot another strong performance in the weeks ahead can also submit nominations directly to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram’s high school sports desk for future player of the week consideration.
