Every decision about parks, development, zoning, and economic growth starts with people willing to step up and serve.
The City of Benbrook is now accepting applications from residents interested in serving on one of several city boards and commissions. These volunteer positions give citizens an opportunity to provide input on issues that directly impact the community.
Openings are available on the:
• Planning and Zoning Commission
• Zoning Board of Adjustment/Appeals Commission
• Parks and Recreation Board
• Benbrook Economic Development Corporation Board
Residents interested in applying can pick up an application at Benbrook City Hall, 911 Winscott Road, or find additional information online at the City of Benbrook Boards and Commissions.
Questions can be directed to Beth Fischer at bfischer@benbrook-tx.gov.
Applications must be submitted by July 20, with appointments scheduled by the Benbrook City Council in September.
For residents looking to get involved beyond attending meetings or sharing opinions online, serving on a board or commission offers a chance to have a seat at the table and help shape Benbrook’s future.
