Benbrook Musicians Earn Top Honors at State Contest.

A trip to the Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest turned into a memorable day for several Benbrook student musicians.

Representing Benbrook in a clarinet quartet, Ruth Walker, Kaden Robles, Rosalie Chandler, and Juliano Calado competed against some of the state’s top student performers and came away with the highest possible ratings.

According to the Benbrook Band Boosters, the quartet earned all 1s from judges, a mark of superior performance and a testament to the countless hours spent practicing and preparing for the competition.

The group was also supported by Daniel and Twila Roundy, who helped make the trip possible by providing transportation to the contest.

For the students, the achievement caps off a successful year of musicianship and dedication. For Benbrook, it’s another reminder that local students continue to perform at the highest level, both on the field and on the stage.

Congratulations to Ruth, Kaden, Rosalie, and Juliano on an outstanding performance at the state level.
