Friday night was anything but quiet at The Backyard at Jake’s in Benbrook, where live music, cornhole, and outdoor festivities brought out a crowd on October 23.
Longtime Benbrook resident Gary Addison shared a glimpse of the evening, highlighting a performance by The Discords, a band known for playing hits from the 1960s and 1970s.
The gathering drew plenty of attention from passing motorists, with a large Jumbotron adding to the atmosphere. Parking was packed, including nearby street parking, as residents headed out for a Friday night in Benbrook.
Addison praised the band and encouraged others to catch a performance when they can.
