Before long, the crack of the bat, cheers from the stands, and evenings at the ballpark will be back in full swing.
The Benbrook Youth Baseball & Softball Association (BYBSA) has officially opened registration for its 2026 Fall Season, welcoming boys and girls ages 3 through 14 to participate in one of the community’s favorite youth sports programs.
Registration opened June 1 and will remain open through July 31. Opening Night activities are scheduled for September 11, followed by Opening Day on September 12.
Programs range from Blastball for the youngest players to divisions through 14U. Registration fees start at $120 for Blastball and range up to $230 for the 14U division.
BYBSA is also offering several discounts, including 10% off for military families, 5% off for siblings, and a 50% registration discount for head coaches after the season concludes.
The regular baseball and softball seasons are scheduled to run through November 7, with an end-of-season baseball tournament tentatively planned for November 14. BYBSA will use the 2027 age charts for fall league placement.
For many Benbrook families, fall baseball and softball are about more than wins and losses. They are an opportunity for kids to learn teamwork, build confidence, make friends, and create memories that last long after the final out.
