Aledo Summer Program Opens Spots for Young Explorers.

As summer approaches, families looking for a simple, structured way to keep their youngest kids engaged have a new option just a short drive from Benbrook.

Summit Church in Aledo is hosting “Summit Little Explorers,” a four-day summer program designed for children ages 3 to 4. The event runs June 8 through June 11, from noon to 4 p.m., offering a mix of crafts, playtime, rest, and Bible-based learning in small-group settings.

Organizers are keeping the group intentionally small, capped at 12 children, which allows for more hands-on attention throughout the day. The cost is $60 per child, and families are asked to send a lunch and a nap mat, along with basic registration details, including emergency contacts and any food allergies.

For families with preschoolers, it is a chance to give kids a few meaningful days of creativity, routine, and connection before the rhythm of fall returns.

The program will take place at Summit Church, the Aledo campus of St. Paul Lutheran Church, located at 111 Maverick St.

Parents interested in registering can sign up online or learn more about the church at SharingNewLifeAledo.com.
